Counselor Profile: Carly Thompson
Carly Thompson holds a master’s degree in counseling from Loyola University Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and religious studies from Towson University. With five years of professional experience in mental health and college counseling, Carly values the honor of getting to know the inner worlds of the people she works with and helping them to realize the next stages in their lives. With a degree in philosophy and religious studies and having been raised in a Catholic home, Carly appreciates the CLT’s integration of values, philosophy, and classical learning and recognizes that current standardized tests don’t take into account the whole student and their unique abilities. With CLI, Carly looks forward to helping students explore their academic strengths and their values to help them find a college that aligns with their needs and strengths.
